You can make a car diffuser with anything that can absorb essential oils such as diffuser pads, clay, cotton balls, cork, etc. Here are a few DIY car diffuser options:
Bring on the Day: 1 drop ylang ylang, 1 drop orange, 1 drop grapefruit
Energize the Driver:
Blend 1: 1 drop bergamot + 1 drop wintergreen, spearmint, or peppermint
Blend 2: 1 drop rosemary or basil + 1–2 drops lemon
Wave of Nausea: 1 drop ginger + 1 drop peppermint, orange, lemon, or lemongrass
Happy Passengers: 1 drop lemon + 1 drop orange + 1 drop grapefruit or spearmint
Purify the Air: 1 drop lemongrass + 1 drop lemon
Navigating with Focus: 1 drop rosemary or basil + 1 drop frankincense + 1 drop lemon
Traffic Jam: 1 drop bergamot + 1 drop grapefruit + 1 drop orange
New Car: 1 drop orange + 1 drop wintergreen or spearmint

Note: Peppermint essential oil should not be diffused with young children (0–6) in the car. Rosemary and wintergreen essential oils should not be diffused with pregnant women in the car.
