Owl Pine Cone Diffusers

Difficulty: Easy

Supplies Needed:

  • Pine cones
  • Owl template
  • Felt
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Essential oils

Instructions:

  1. Gather pine cones of your desired sizes, and carefully rinse them off with warm water to get rid of any dirt. Set them on a towel to dry.
  2. Print out the owl template, and cut out the pattern pieces. You may need to scale the template depending on the size of your pine cones. Trace the pattern pieces onto felt of your desired colors, and then cut out the felt pieces.
  3. Use the hot glue gun to attach the felt pieces to the pine cone: Glue the eye and beak pieces together, and then glue them to the front of the pine cone near the top. Glue a wing piece on each side of the pine cone, and glue the feet pieces to the bottom of the pine cone. Repeat for any additional pine cone diffusers you wish to make.
  4. Once the glue has dried, your pine cone diffusers are ready to enjoy! Drop 2 or 3 drops of essential oil on the top of each pine cone, and enjoy the fragrance!
