It’s fun to spend the summer outdoors, but it’s not so fun to be pestered by mosquitoes. These homemade paracord bracelets are a fun craft to pass the time during the hot summer months, and they can become a stylish mosquito-repelling bracelet as well. Download paracord bracelet instructions. Soak your paracord bracelet in the following Mosquito Repellent solution, and you can enjoy a bug-free experience this summer.
Note: If you’d rather not take the time to make your own bracelets, you can buy them online or at a sporting goods store, but they won’t be custom-fit to yours or your kids’ wrists.
Servings: Yield 1 cup (240 ml) | Time: 5 minutes active; 20 minutes inactive | Difficulty: Easy
Add essential oils to 1 cup (240 ml) of witch hazel or water, and mix well.
Next, soak your paracord bracelet in the solution for 20 minutes.
Remove from the solution, and let the bracelet dry thoroughly.
Transfer the mixture to a 2 oz. Glass Spray Bottle.
Reapply the solution as needed by spraying it on the bracelet, saturating it well on both sides, or by re-soaking the bracelet.
