Tangerine essential oil is cold-pressed from the rind of the Citrus reticulata fruit. It has a fresh, sweet, citrusy aroma that is both calming and uplifting.
Tangerine oil has anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, laxative, and sedative properties. It has been used to treat a variety of ailments, including cellulite, constipation, dizziness, fear, parasites, intestinal issues, stress, liver problems, stretch marks, irritability, and water retention.
Tangerine essential oil may support emotional balance, the immune system, and skin health.
It can be applied topically without dilution (avoid direct sunlight up to 12 hours after application), diffused, or taken orally in capsule form or diluted in a beverage. It also makes a delicious flavor enhancer in cooking.
