ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Patty and Sayde are true animal advocates. Their love and passion for animals are evident in all they do. They want to share their wealth of information and training with others to help the animal community.

In 1999 the authors followed a dream of owning their own business by creating Doodlebug Duds a line of dog/cat beds coats collars leashes and more. For 18 years Doodlebug Duds has had a presence at the Portland Saturday Market.

Sayde and Patty have partnered with a local rescue Panda Paws Rescue as a foster family for special needs dogs. A teeny-tiny Yorkie captured their hearts along with the famous Fluffy Shark.

A couple of years ago one of their basset hounds Honey began to exhibit severe skin issues. Multiple trips to the vet and traditional medications were not providing relief. A friend offered them a more holistic approach to the care of their pets (and themselves) with 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils. Honey found immediate relief with daily use of the oils along with her medications. Soon pets and humans alike were using the oils on a a daily basis.

In 2016 Sayde completed training through Northwest School of Animal Massage. She is now a Certified Animal Massage Practitioner (C.A.M.P) This combined with Patty's Bachelor of Art's degree in Physical Education and Health from Pacific University and the knowledge they have gained of the powerful benefits of 100% pure therapeutic grade oils Patty and Sayde feel the need to share this information with other.
